Save not appearing :(
So I just downloaded this game and loved it. I played about 5 hours a day. I had something like 31 hours. I was then starting to feel like I wanted to change my name. I went into the savegameinfo and the (name)_(numbers) and changed my name. Now the save dosent even show up even if I change it back. Plz help me.

There should be some files ending with something like this: "_old", rename them to remove the extension, replace the files, and then that will work.

If using windows:

Cut and paste:

%AppData%\StardewValley\Saves\

Into the start menu search box.
Your games will appear in a drop down.
Select any save and right click.
Select: Open file location. This will bring up a file window containing all your saves.
Your game should be a folder in this file location.
Open the folder. (My game had been currupted)
You can now either delete or move the two current game files and rename the two .old files by removing the .old extension.
Close window and return to the Game Load screen.
This will restore your game to the previous day's save.

Open the save (in a text editor), and if it's full of "null", then you can't do anything, unless you didn't revert one day by using the .old files.

Also, rename the file to it's original name.

The reverting to the intro screen occurs if you attempt to do the renaming from the Start menu drop down. This results in an invalid save file.

You must click on the game in the drop down and right click on the "Open File Location" option. (See mt instructions above). If this is how you renamed your file then, sorry, I have no idea what has gone wrong.
