Community center complete in one year
Is this possible? Has it been done? Whats the fastest (non-modded) way to complete this. Im still enjying my first play through and i made obvious mistakes but im only just getting the community center done halfway through second year.

You'd have to have time to fish, get past Lv 80 in the mine, grow a variety of crops and tend animals (also building their barns and coops), forage, and make enough profit to pay off the vault. It's conceivable that it could be done as a speed run, but it would have to be very tight. It would also require some level of luck for things like duck feather and rabbit's foot. You could never go to bed early with extra energy because you'd have to spend as much as you could everywhere. The sooner you could get teleportation and control of weather the better.

The magic cart would be a randomizing factor that could play into getting there faster. Getting various things you need for a price.

It's very much possible, though some luck is required.

The Red Cabbage can normally only be attained in Year 2, however the Traveling Cart has a small chance to sell it (or its seeds) before then.

Other than that it's only a matter of not missing any of the seasonal items and getting some of the harder-to-get items in time (Truffle, Rabbit's Foot, that sort of thing). Again the Traveling Cart may spare you a lot of difficulty there.

Yeah it hink the bulletein board would be the hardest, and opening the desert to get the fish could prove challenging to do quickly

Yes, the Bulletin Board's a big pain because of the high-end animal products and Red Cabbage.

The Sandfish wouldn't normally be a problem because it's got such a high chance to appear at the Traveling Cart. The Cart appears 32 times in a year so you're very likely to get it there.

But even if it doesn't appear at all, well... the Desert's not too bad, it's a straight up 42,500g expense. In my last regular playthrough, I had it unlocked around the end of summer. It's just a little expensive for a fish...

Ah yeah i mean i guess you could always keep the money ear marked, i feel like an early sprinkler system would be a must to save time as well. It would have to be very regimented and scheduled days. And you would have to ignore EVERYTHING else, and like you said in the end you only have 32 chances at a red cabage spawn

Working through a min/max playthrough right now... I don't do the fishing bundles because the reward is pointless and I don't like having the community center finished (Clint throws me right off leaving his job to stand around doing nothing)... But, I had all the fish required & everything else done before the Fall Festival year one, the traveling cart is a must for several bundles (bulletin board, winter forage, fishing if you're bad or just unlucky at it), as is having a plan for crops, since there are a few that require time (plus quality).

Also, min/maxing helps since you get a good bankroll going, not just for the vault, but for upgrading barns & coops. By midsummer year 1, I had 2 deluxe barns (one exclusively for pigs) and a deluxe coop, filled with ducks (pro tip, buy a duck egg from the cart when they're cheap & hatch it for max profits, hatch 1st egg off that duck, rinse repeat until coop is full) Had a dozen or so duck feathers in just a few weeks...

I keep a balanced game, by end of first winter, had nearly everyone at max hearts (hate seeking out Sebastian, Maru & Harvey), 1 mil+ profits, maxed all skills & enough iridium for a field full of sprinklers... And in case you're wondering vanilla game, no mods. Geez, that sounds braggy, but it is my 6th playthrough & I've nearly 600 hrs in this game, and this is the first time I've managed to "complete" (didn't do fish one) the center year one... Joja on other hand, easy to do in one year.

Yes it is. I've done it. But as mentioned you have to get lucky and have the travelling cart sell red cabbage, which is normally only available in year 2.
