Slow the clock
Time passes WAY to quickly in this game, there's no time to do anything exept walk around. Is there a way to slow it down? I would of thought that with Harvest moon out there experiencing the same problem the DEVs would of created an adjustable clock for the players...

I've already checked the discussions and the only info I got was out of date and the mod didn't work at all. Anyone got anything?

Don’t give yourself so much to do every day. If you’re running out of time and stressing over the clock then you should re-evaluate what you’ve given yourself to do.

There are no upkeep costs or taxes or anything like that in the game, so time is free. It's OK if you don't do everything in a day; even if you only grew one Parsnip every 50 years, there would be no penalty.

The clock was designed to limit the amount of things you can do in a day, but it's still very lenient. For example, if you choose to spend the time you currently get in a day on fishing, you can make 200,000g before the end of your first spring. If time passed twice as slowly, you could make more than double that, which might be a bit absurd.

Day's gone? Sleep and you'll get one more day for free. Every time.

No deadlines, infinite time. Enjoy it.

There are a few mods out there that give you the option to slow down or stop the clock entirely, but I'm of a like mind with the other responses here. It's best just to make a quick plan for what you want to achieve and then work towards it rather than trying to get a bit of everything done each and every day- the travel times and limitations of business hours can make it pretty difficult to say "I want to water all my crops, fish at the beach, go to the Blacksmiths, talk to Sebastian and hit the mines today", but if you split some of those tasks up across the week you can get a surprising amount of stuff done in what feels like less time.

That's not saying it's impossible to get what you want done, if you're familiar with the map and the NPC's schedules, but trying to get fishing and mining done in the same day (Especially if you're still manually watering your crops) Is a bit impractical since you cut your available time for each task in half.

You get like 15 minutes per day. What are you doing that that's not enough time? At the beginning of the game that's enough time to run the entire map twice, or progress through 5 floors of the mines...

I love how paced the time is.
If you're waiting for something - painfully slow.
If you're doing something - horrifyingly fast.
You get an maximum of 13 minutes an day, thats more than enougj

There is a mod you can use that can freeze time.

Actually, I can't even say hi to everyone in one day and thats all I tried to do. Plus, its not a question of doing 5 things in a day, I've played most harvest moon games and I know how to pace myself. If your the kind of players who like to pass the first spring or three years sleeping the game off because you find nothing to do in that time, that is your choice. I like to "work".

But the question isn't about how you like to play the game, but about if there is a way to slow the clock. I've read of some mods, but the one I tried didn't work, out of date. Again, anyone know where I can get one, recent enough and that works?
i belive there is an mod called "C J B cheat menu" it should be up to date and allows you to freeze time, among other things like, get 10 movement speed, teleport anywhere, infinate hp/energy and also instant build/crops and instant water crops and also change the weather just to name an few

Thank you! I'll look it up for the time thing, I'm not interested in other cheats though. I just wish the DEVs would of included a customizable clock : those who like it fast and those who like it slow...That came out sort of wrong, but you get the idea.:steammocking:
i also belive there is an all item mod by the same person who made the "cheat sheet mod" just so you know

not to put any ideas of 1000 ancient fruit wine an week or anything ;)

Decide on your priorities. Foe example, I don't bother to socialise much or to fish at all in the first spring. First 14 days it is farming, foraging and tree clearance almost entirely using forage to keep energy up. Once the strawberries are planted then I add as much mining as possible to get the copper needed for tool upgrades before summer. Once I have my spring crops in time is much less of an issue. But, that is just my way of dealing with time. :)

It helps to talk to people in groups
I visit the houses in the lower left at the start of the day at 9
Head into General Store and usually 4 other people are there
Talk to Clint then head to Demetrius
Talk to those 4, then Linus
While I'm up there I talk to Dwarf
Use the cart to get back into town (it's 2PM at this point for me)
Talk to Oldies and Harvey
Wait until nighttime
Say hi to Tavern
Hi Krobus
Hi wizard
I can get everyone but Sandy in one day, and usually on the days where the females work out (I think it's Wednesday) I can make an exception
"work"
