how to manually save your game?
without walking to your house?

got the same cutscene for the third time today. expected the game to auto save when exiting.. it's 2017 after all.
kinda annoying...

my first pixel game so maybe it's normal for the gerne. anyway if someone knows the answer to the question please tell me :)

This game only saves when you sleep, there's no manual save

It's only autosave when you go to sleep.
This is to avoid exploiting to much

okay.. that's interesting. why worry about that in a single player game..
anyway you're not a developer. shouldn't ask you XD

kinda annoying though. but can you pauze the game then?

Game pauses when you go into a menu, like into inventory, there's just no manual save

Vanilla game only allows save on Sleep.

Get the mod that allows Saving Anywhere, if that's what you want.

Unfortunately not, and as you said, not sure why it would matter in a single player game if you "abused it"... The only place this would really be a thing is in the mines, to avoid death?

That's about the only reason i would want it, but really, not necessary

You have to play each day out or abandon your progress for the day.

Howeverr, there is a way to save progress games at key points. I do this at the end of each season so that I can recove my game if I make a significant error. I also send these saves to another computer for back-up purposes. If this is what you need rather than "on demand" saving, it is quite simple once you know how. I could write up instructions if you like.
