Animal Layout for River Farm?

I only have 15 animals and a lot of the time, there are 2 or 3 a day that don't eat anything. Here is my layout. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1170972552
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get enough space or has a picture of their river farm with enough space?

With that amount of animals on that island... I'm not sure you'll be able to sustain that at all. The river farm is probably the worst farm for animals due to the limited space on the islands. Your best bet would be to put it on the larger land area next to the house, as otherwise there's simply not enough grass. I could be wrong, though... as I haven't tried running a barn on that island, this is pure speculation.

I mean... if it's a riverland farm then there's really no point to growing animals... shouldn't it be fishing and some crops primarily?
