Fire Quartz is used for the construction bundle, in the minerals section. I think you might need 3 of them for that, and then you'd need 1 for donating to the museum. Other than that, I think you can just sell them.

Useless like 90% of minerals.

An early Fire Quarz is actually immensely helpful. It'll let you unlock the Minecarts much sooner.

If you're doing the Joja route, well, it's still worth an early Mineral donation, I suppose.

You can grow slimes, and get a steady source of slime. Also, there's some extremely rare drop that comes with them. Not sure though.

Pretty much. Just type in whatever the hell you need, and it'll give you what you want. I usually use it to see villager schedules or what type of soil-mods I should use on crops.

That means no.

I just couldn't bring myself to get the slime hutch thingy. I did make the machines though, as I wanted to complete that achievement, but I don't want an ugly slime thing on my pretty farm. LOL.

I believe the building on the left is a Slime Hutch.

but at least i explained the biggest usefulness it has, which is just earning a small amount of moeny and growing more slimes in opposed to just saying, "It's actually pretty useless." So no need to state the obvious because i'm sure the OP has figured it out and whether they want to have slimes on their farms is up to them.
