I would suggest searching the bug report subforum for resolution and aspect ratio issues. If you see a bunch of people complain about unusual aspect ratios not working, it's probable that 3:2 isn't supported.
Good one! No, it's a newish productivity standard from the Panasonic displays in the Microsoft Surfaces.
Shadowrun Returns got me hooked on this aspect ratio for 2D games... I had tried it on my 2560x1400 @144hz TN display on my desktop before and went "meh". Then tried it on the Surface display and sat glued to it 24/7.
2D games look phenomenal on it, so I'm hunting for more games that'll edge-to-edge that sucker up.
