Turn off Pregnancy on Switch version
I'm somehow unable to bring my icon over the "Pregnancy" icon, so my animals keep having babies that I won't be able to feed for the winter. Is there a way to fix this?

I don't know, I don't have a Nintendo Switch, try to contact ConcernedApe on Twitter.

Have you tried turning the thing that snaps your cursor to various areas off so you can move it freely? That'd probably let you touch the pregnancy icon. I don't have a switch, either, however I've watched streamers stream it on the switch and I've found that they can't chose some things with that option on.

Uncheck the box for controller style menus, then you can move the cursor anywhere you want.

The right analog stick allows you to move the mouse freely, even if you have controller style menus checked, if I recall.

What in the world? In my 500 hours of playtime, I've never had an animal have a baby. And you're saying your animals are having too many babies? >_>

That said... you can buy hay from Marnie for, I think, 50g. It's like, the same price as an egg, and half the price of mayonnaise, I think, so you'll still profit if you buy the hay. Grass is just cheaper.

Yeah, pregnancies are extremely rare (I've only ever seen one) and, even if you somehow didn't save Hay for winter, the new animal will generally produce much more gold than it would cost you to feed it.

That said, OP has been given a way to turn pregnancy off, so they're free to use that if they want to.

First thing I tried. You can't access it in that particular menu.

I had my single sheep give birth, and my pigs give birth within the same year.
