My axe and pickaxe are stuck in a chest
Hi, so I somehow managed to put my pickaxe and axe in a chest and then build a chest in front of the chest I stored the items in. Does anyone know how I can move the old chest without an axe or pickaxe?

I think if it's empty you can leftclick on it a few times and it will pop up and become an item. At least this works with other decorations so maybe with the chest, too.
If you have access to any type of bomb, they will allow you to blow up the blocking chest(s) and get your stuff back. (If you blow up the chest with your tools in it, you should get them back in the mail, but lose all upgrades, so be careful.)

Edit: Or you can left click a bunch, that's probably safer. <sheepish>

If you empty the chest in front you can just hit it with an empty hand and break the chest. If it has stuff in it though that won't work.

Thanks for your help, however none of the above worked :( (chest is 100% empty).

Don;t think so, the only axe is the initial one and it is upgradable

I'm 100% positive you can repeatedly interact with an item like an empty chest to pick it up, or a bomb of any size will definitely break it.

Yes, you can repeatedly hit things like furnaces and chests with your empty hand and they'll eventually get shaken loose.

then you didn't do it right, or do it for long enough. you absolutely do NOT need a tool to pick up a chest. if you can't figure it out..... :steamfacepalm:

OP, this guy is right, if you hold the mouse button that doesn't open the chests long enough, and it shakes as you hit it, hold the button long enough, then you'll pick it up, i just tried it
