problem with inventory cycling

I have a windows 10 computer and I have not played Stardew for a long while. I go to play it and my inventory starts cycling between the different items. It is annoying and makes it impossible to play the game. Does anyone else have this issue?

I believe that happens if a button is held in while launching the game. Try disconnecting any controllers and keyboards.
