There's a reason why you have to unlock them.

It wouldn't be a cool idea; it gets rid of something to work towards, and it would be rewarding as well.

You'll have to elaborate.

Starting with minecarts unlocked, even if they gave you access to the Mines, would only drop you on the ground floor. Where exactly does the "balls deep" part come in?

And what would be a suitable reward for completing the Foraging section of the Community Center?

If you want the dev to change something like that at this point in development you're going to need to make a really good case for it.

I'm fine with what I had to do to unlock the carts. I wish the carts went to more areas of the game. Like the beach. Or even the secret woods or sewer presuming I had those unlocked.

Not a lot of people would be able to do 30 levels in the mine in one day without preparation. Especially not with early game equipment (starting pick, no Energy consumables).

If you want some sort of special dungeon challenge, you might ask for that specifically.

Why would a MINE cart go to the beach, secret woods or sewer? They go to the main road, the mine, and the blacksmith. You get the ore from the mine, the blacksmith makes the ore into goods, the goods are sold via the road.

Why can I raise dinosaurs? I didn't realize this was a realistic game. :p

Magic, I assume. But the mine carts are obviously man made. What excuse would a human have for building a fast-track to a sewer?
yodabauer Aug 14, 2017 @ 11:10pm
For magic? :p

But to answer your question- to dump mine waste. To the woods to get wood to have the ability to make fires for light. The beach, maybe to dump sand or clay. But even if that's a stretch if I could get to the sewer that would get me closer. It'd also get me to the lower woods by extension.

Really, I don't care if it's realistic. It's just something I'd want. Is that really such a crime in a game like this?

No, but honestly, have fun having someone make a mod about it. Since it's not going to be in the game by default..

There are obilesk warps to beach and mountain u can make after a quest from once u fully unlock community center. The beach is a semi decent place to forage stuff.

Also that 2 mill return rod

Yeah I am still waiting on a stupid rabbits foot for the CC. The warp obelisks will be nice eventually.

There are already multiple mods with expanded minecart locations.

Honestly, "minecarts" is just a close-minded way to name this feature. If you've got a rail system going, you'd be silly to only use it for mine-related activities.
