Achievements?

Some of my achievements are showing up like I don't have them, when the ones I do have show that I obviously earned the previous ones. As in, I don't have "Cliques" but I have the achievement past that. I don't always play online, but shouldn't the game detect and correct the number of achievements I've reached whenever I log back on?

AFAIK you have to be online for Steam to register achievements.

It would be possible for the developer to add achievement re-checks (say, when you open your Achievements tab in-game) and get Steam to grant you the achievements then, but apparently they didn't do that.

I tried this and then tested it by giving Robin a gift to see if it would trigger the "A New Friend" achievement, which it did -- but it didn't resolve my problem which is that Steam doesn't also recognize that I've earned this achievement.
Is there anything else that I should do, or am I now forced to accept that I can never complete my achievements?

No, I haven't modded SV so I don't understand what could possibly interefere with the achievements being awarded.

I'm also having this issue, namely with the cooking/crafting achievements and reach 10 hearts with 8 people, as I've only got 2 people left before everyone is 10 hearts. And I never play offline.....

I have a friend on Steam that same thing happened to him. He has the 50k and the 250k achievements, but the 15k achievement never triggered.

He started a new game, made sure he was always online, never modded his game, and got the achievement with a new game.
