how to un-stick my slime from the hutch wall?

somehow one of my slimes in the new slime hutch i built managed to glitch itself into the south wall of the hutch and can't get out. i can stand within a few spaces and see its jump animation as it tries to attack me but it just stays in the one wall tile and doesn't jump out to the floor. theoretically i could reach it with my sword to kill it, but i would really rather keep it alive as it's the only black slime i have and want to be able to breed more. i penned an opposite gender slime in the nearby area and it noticed the stuck one and the little heart came over top its head, but when it tries to chase/breed the stuck one it can't since it can't get into the wall.

short of killing it, is there any way to get my slime to un-glitch from the hutch wall?

You could coax it out by laying some food just out of reach. It'll get hungry enough to come out... eventually.

But in all seriousness if it's stuck, it's stuck. If you leave it there and continue to breed slimes, you can cap the overflow limit of the hutch and the black slime /might/ escape and get out onto the map where you'll be able to open-air corrall it.

it ended up dying when i forgot to water the slimes after picking up my upgraded watering can (whoops!) but thanks anyways. it's neat to know that you can corrall them outside, maybe that'll be my next personal quest.
