flashing black-blue multicolor slime?

i just got myself a slime hutch and a witch came to visit it after i hatched two eggs (a blue female and a green male). after the witch turned them black i noticed the blue-turned-black one occasionally starts flashing between black and blue kind of rhythmatically. she stops and starts pretty randomly. i know it's not a glitch of she's on top of another slime because i only had 2 when i noticed first and only have 3 now so it's pretty easy to keep track of who's where.

i'm playing 1.2 and the slime in question is first generation from the egg press if it makes a difference.

anybody else experience this with their slimes? does it impact their breeding or drops?

It's just something the blue slimes do. They have a charge attack where they flash for a second, then can go zooming off at light speed to beat your ass.

A lot of the ones in the mines do it; not sure why it's only the blues.

ah if u build a wicked statue and put it in ur hutch the witch shouldnd make them black
