Will there be a Stardew Valley 2?

Years later, this is still one of my all-time favorite games. It's so peaceful and relaxing, and elegant in its simplicity. Please tell me a sequel is in the works.

It's only about a year old, so years is an exageration, and i highly doubt there will be a sequel

As far as I know, only Multiplayer is left, bug fixes and languages, and potentially, that respec thing everyone seems to go on about, not much more to add.

Bit of polish and balance, too, but yes. It's relatively close to being completed.

This would be a really bad time to get started on another game.
