Lightning rods...
So I exited Stardew Valley about 10 minutes ago. I'm sitting at my computer desk checking facebook, when I hear some real life thunder outside. I think "Hopefully my Lightning Rods get some battery packs..." >.>

I found out yesturday that if you put some side by side they won't all produce battery packs. I am not sure if they are guaranteed to produce battery packs when there is lightning but I do recommend spacing the rods out to increase the chances if you have multiple ones :)

It should be fine. I have a dozen rods all next to other rods and they usually all produce battery packs.

Each lightning bolt will (as far as I know) only hit one lightning rod. Typically speaking, 9-12 on any given day with thunderstorms.

Oh interesting! Well my bad, I just thought it wouldn't work if they were side by side because during a lightning storm only my middle one produced a battery pack. Well thanks again :) it was probably only a one time thing.

I started placing them apart in my grazing fields for my animals. Place them on a piece of grass, and the cows won't be able to eat the grass, so you will always have a few grass starters to keep grass growing in your fields! I saw that tip on a youtube video, and it works great. :)
