Left click working sporadically on Mac

Just as the titles says, over the past two weeks my left click doesnt seem to be working, makes fishing impossible. Anyone else have this issues?

Hey that works! I would like a fix to this however as moving stuff in my inventory is still difficult.

I can confirm that closing the Mac application "Magnet" resolves the inconsistent click issue with Stardew Valley. I, too, would have NEVER in a million years thought to do that to troubleshoot this. Thank you!!

It's not just a MAC problem, i'm missing clicks on PC to.
Missed quite a few fishbites due to that and got hit a lot by enemys, since the game goes: What, you clicked? No, doesn't count, wasn't looking.
