Are there permanently missable events?

When anxiety really gets to me and I have a panic attack, I always play games like starbound, terraria, minecraft, etc. and a few of my good friends suggested me this game. I bought it yesterday and I already love it! It's so relaxing, but I read somewhere that there are some events that are permanently missable, is that true? Because I don't want to be on the edge constantly while trying to play this game. If it's events that depend on the season and if it can be triggered again, I'm fine with that, and it doesn't matter how long I have to wait, but if it's something that I can miss and not be able to do anymore in current playthrough I want to know. I only really care about the events that have something to do with the story, I don't want to miss anything story-related but if it's just some fetching quest I can live with that.

Anyways, thank you for reading and any info will be greatly appreciated. Now I'm constantly anxious while playing this game, help me please :(

There really isn't much of a story, or at least not a linear one.

You can either complete the Community Center or help JoJa mart, there are 1 or 2 heart events that can be missed permamently (Sam's 2nd or 4th event, don't exactly remember but, can't be triggered when year 2 comes, and there's also this thing with Emily and Clint, but I'm not too sure about it), but other than that, I don't think there's anything else you can miss.

I'll note that heart events aren't important unless you want to know more about the characters.

If you're anxious, just play at your own pace and you'll do fine, there's no need to stress.

Thanks, I tend to overreact. I just found Grandpa's Shrine and note said that I should wait for his return on the 3rd year. I suppose things like that are missable.

It's not missable, so I mentioned it.

If you pass the 3rd year and still haven't gotten the 4 candles, you can always try to get enough points for the 4 candles, and once you're done doing that, all you have to do is give the shrine a diamond and he'll re-evaluate your farm the next day.

By the time you're married, you've already triggered your spouse's 10 heart event, so I wouldn't consider this to be a big problem.

It is possible to miss certain events(at least one of Clint's if you progress too far with Emily first, and a couple of others) and certain events can only occur in a certain season so you may have to wait until the following year if you were a bit slow off the mark.

Also If you complete two of the rooms in the community center on the same day, you will only see one of the night events related to it.

Yes, there are..not events, but quests sent to you in your mailbox.

I missed the early quests 'Robin's lost axe' and the Mayor's undies one (and maybe a few more), because I thought there's a 2 day limit on those..I right-clicked to close the letter instead of clicking accept quest, thinking that I wouldn't be able to complete those quests in time anyways..lost those quests forever..

To clarify the first response: Sam has a 3 heart event that can only happen in year one. And it won't trigger in winter.
