No Steam Achievements / no Collection Progress
Since I play Stardew Valley on 2 differents PCs it occurs, that I don't get steam achievements. The stars ingame are there but somehow it won't transfer to the steam achievement.

Also I have some missing spots in the ingame collection I cannot explain. For example I'm still missing an iron and an iridium bar, but I smelt them daily. Also I got them from monsters but the ingame collection spot is still empty.

Any solutions for my problems?

have you tried reinstalling the game yet?
LuckySara Jul 9, 2017 @ 8:16pm
You have to sell them for them to count in the collection spot, if I recall correctly. Also, are you making sure it syncs on Steam after you're done playing? Like.. is the steam cloud running properly for you?
Thanks for the solution of the collection probleme - yes, I had to sell the things in order to have them counted. I thought producing would be enough.

For the other problem: yes, Steamssync is working properly everytime I close the game. Some achievements like the friendship ones work, while others like the amount of earned money don't work. I read a lot about deleting some informations from the savegame to get the achievements, but I wanted to make sure, that there is no other way.

There probably is another way, but I'm probably just not too sure of it. Someone else might know better than I would.

Hey there, I have the same issue and haven't found a solution.

I'm missing some basic ones like Mother Catch (100 Fish) despite that I've caught over 600 plus the Legendary Fish, Gofer (10 Wanted Requests) despite having over 40 finished, and I don't have the achievement for reaching the bottom of the mine even though I've been to the very bottom several times. I have the stars or items for these respective achievements, but not the Steam acknowledgement.

For awhile, Steam just wasn't noticing my achievements. I messed with the Steam Overlay so that it's active in game and not lagging anymore, and new achievements are being recorded, but these old ones are gone unless I decide to do another playthrough.

Mods, maybe? Modding games can disable achievements.

Aesthetic mods are fine (I use them myself and I'm getting achievements as normal), but ones that actually change how the game works or give you information you're not supposed to have are usually considered cheats by whatever algorithm checks if your game is modded or not.

Zero mods.

Thought I'd double-post for once.

I have no idea what happened, but this is definitely a thing. I've recently nabbed Master Angler for catching every single type of fish, which was recognized by Steam and properly awarded. However, I'm still permanently missing Ol' Mariner for catching 24 different fish!

I have not, however, suffered from the game not recognizing Iron Ore/Bar collection. I don't know what could be causing that, but whatever it is, I'm willing to wager it's a different issue from the Steam achievement one.

Still don't have any mods installed, so I'm really wondering what went on! Not like I played in offline mode or anything.

I suggest that you make sure you actually did catch 24 different fish.

Did u fish for ghostfish and crab? I know those can be dropped by nines enemies. U need every fish with a caught 1 to register. Store bought and monster kill drops do not count but expose it from shadow.

This is wrong. I play with a modded exe and actual cheat mods (which I just use to teleport around because I'm a lazy blobfish) and I got all the achievements on steam except two which are bugged on my savegame. It happens sometimes with one or two acms. That one with 5 five heart friends was missing when I already got the "full" star acm :'D

-I have Master Angler confirmed. I have caught every fish, including the 5 legendaries.
-I have caught more than 24 fish types between Steam starting to recognize my achievements again and finishing Master Angler
-Achievements are being recognized by Stardew Valley, just not by Steam.
-I have no mods or other game alterations, and never have. Yes, I am positive; I like to play all my games vanilla the first time around.
-I have not played this game in offline mode.
-This glitch does not strictly apply to this one achievement. I am also missing the achievement for reaching 10 hearts with one person despite my wife being 13/12, I am missing the achievement for the bottom of the mines despite having been there and regularly doing Skull Cavern runs, I am missing the 10 and 40 Requests achievements despite Mr. Qi's casino confirming over 50, and I am missing Monoculture despite the fact I sold a stack of 999 coffee beans (among other crops - I am in year 3).

Hopefully that's enough info for someone to be able to figure out what the heck happened. I genuinely do not know why Steam stopped recognizing achievements earned, nor why it hasn't awarded them retroactively.

It is a bug. As I said: it happended to me also. The only solution is to start a new savegame and work towards the missing steam acms.

I have an idea. <( '-')
You know how game progress stays only for one profile/world right?
So that basically means that achievements also stay with that one profile.
So what if you created a new world and regained the achievements (but this time, by opening the game through Steam)
Taxing, but it should solve your problem. (^-^ )
