Chopping trees indeed seems to be most effective. I did pick up everything I saw too, and so, planting Wild Seeds might work since they essentially spawn a whole bunch of Forage items when they're fully grown.
That level 10 skill is fantastic. Everything I pick up is of Iridium-quality, meaning their value is maxed and, more importantly, they all stack!
Also, when planting crafted Wild Seeds, you don't need to fertilize for quality because your entire harvest is going to be Iridium-quality regardless. Several thousand gold in four neat little stacks is nice.
this one add bar on left screen to see where we are before to reach another level
EDIT: And can't u get a mushroom lvl on a floor like 85 and 95 so that u can keep elavating somehwere back to mushroom floor for a bunch of mushrooms?
Each level takes more EXP than the previous one, so the fact that I got to level 10 Foraging when my second highest skill was at level 6 means I gained EXP around five times faster in Foraging than in any other skills.
You've got to plant a lot of trees, though. Alternatively, starting with the Forest farm is very effective because of the eight extra stumps (200 EXP) that respawn every single day.
