Report a translation problem
I think the four alternate maps all look way better than the default farm, but unfortunately only the Forest farm provides benefits that compensate for the lost farmland. The Hill and Wilderness farms are still quite functional, mind you, they're just worse.
The River farm is awful to play in. Most wasted space, least farm space, very few paths to move around... it's strictly for people who like harvesting a million crab traps every day. It should have had a river in one corner, a pond in another, a bit of beach on the west side of the map...
We don't speak of Riverlands. People complain that they have to deal with a mediocre mini-quarry at Hilltop, but they're not the ones sacrificing space just to catch Sunfish and Smallmouth Bass quicker. They don't know pain.
On the bright side, at least it looks nice.
