Desktop Shortcut just creates a folder?
Hi there! I'm really new to Steam, so forgive me if this is an obvious problem or something. I just started playing Stardew Valley, but when I had Steam create a desktop shortcut, it just makes the folder for the game. I can still play it by going into steam, but I wish I could get the shortcut to work!

And I'm using a macOS Sierra 10.12.5

Could be something it does for Mac users, cause I'm on windows and I have a desktop shortcut, hopefully a Mac user can conform or deny

Had the same problem.

Fix it by:
1. Copy an existing steam game shortcut onto your desktop
2. click "Show Package Contents" on this file
3. Delete the whole content folder
4. Navigate to the Stardew Valley game folder (should be library/application support/steam/steamapps/common/stardew Valley) and copy the whole content folder into the copied file from step 1.
5. Icon should change on its own. I just changed the file name to Stardew Valley

Hope that helps.
