In my second game over the past few months I married Alex. He cooked breakfast every once in a while. I think Sam did that too. I don't know if every spouse does but I think they all occasionally gift you.
The spouses are basically interchangeable as far as gameplay benefits. Go with whoever you like.
I don't care the game won't let you marry him he is still the best. :P
He was my first choice! :D
He also gives you beer at the end of the year, but Leah gives you wine instead.
The differences are so minimal they can be ignored.
I was worried about Shane, he was a challenge. But he has also has been devoted and only got jeoulous during the first month or so. He doesn't go out as much as he side of the room is kinda messy but he is much happier so all is good. Haven't had children with him yet as I haven't upgraded my house and I'm not sure I want to allow it.
But if I could I would marry Dwarf.
You can marry someone then makeout with all of the marriagible canidates then divorce and marry the new person you woed and turn your previous kids into birds....
Not sure how much more you want for affairs.
If the above doesn't interest you then no downsides.
I got up early and fed the animals.
I have sprinklers and automatic-hay feeders.
Thanks alot leah.
