You blame the game for your own mistake. . well done sherlok
they can both be true.
i would prefer a, "save anytime" system, as I'm a save-scummer.
But I have also found it part of the charm of the game.
ps- please, try to be nice and less hostile (by avoiding name-calling). it helps to be overly nice/patient on the internet as everything is read in such a negative tone. my advice :)
I find the current save system good but maybe just maybe give a 1 day back option. For when you realise monday you missed a cooking show or so.
But for the op matter. Sorry that such a thing happend but its just one day. Is it really that bad? Yes the cutscene did not play but there will be more days for that.

A 'save at any time' function wouldn't really work too well, as you'd have to go to sleep before 2 AM, so you're forced to either way.
even if its, "their fault" it still helps to have some compassion.
