Doesn't really do much, it gives you a discount once you buy it at Joja Mart, to a point where it's cheaper than Pierre i think, not sure though

I'm more curious about what happens to the community center. I just got to the part of the game where the mayor said he'd sell it if one more person gets a Joja membership. What does the community center offer you?

The Community Centre allows you to trade in bundles of items for unique rewards from the juminos (those little creatures you would've seen). I personally haven't gotten a Joja mart membership, but I can't imagine it would be worth sacrificing the possible rewards such as repairs for the bridge and bus.

You still get the repairs, you just pay straight up money for them

If you get the Joja membership, the community center becomes a Joja warehouse (you can still visit it but there's nothing going on inside). You can then talk to the Joja rep at the store and just pay cash for the repairs the community center would have given you.

However, you do not get any gifts like you do completing the bundles... not that the gifts are all that great but hey, free stuff.

Yep, it replace the juminos with joja worker, and instead of completing some bundles mission to unlock town parts, you have to pay for it to joja worker.

Joja community center (warehouse) :
- Pay some money if you want to unlock town parts
- Fast phase, cause you only need money
- Get joja blue banner/sign and cola machine if you already purchase all the town parts

Juminos community center :
- Have to give some bundles to unlock town parts
- Juminos will give you rewards for every bundle you complete
- Get amazing reward after completing all the bundles
- And you can have juminos to help you harvesting some crops (after completing community center, you get different misson)

Correct me if i'm wrong :pleased:

That's the main storyline of the game. You're just choosing your path.

If you join Joja, then JojaMart's prices will match Pierre's. The benefit of this is that they're open until 11pm, and on Wednesdays. They'll also repair things around town, such as the bus, mine carts or greenhouse, for money. As a reward, you get a JojaCola machine for your house.

If you fix up the Community Center, each bundle completed gives items; turning in 1 of every Summer forage will give 30 Summer seeds, for example. Turning in a few fish will get you 3 free crab pots. This route gives more rewards, but it takes a LOT longer. If you do this, then JojaMart goes out of business, but Pierre is now open on Wednesdays.

For your first playthrough, I'd recommend doing the Community Center. Joja's way easier, though.

I'm pretty sure the Junimo Hut building is still available from the wizard after the quest

Personally, I think joining Joja is pretty much the opposite of what your farmer would want....like, you used to work at Joja, it crushed you so you decide to leave for the country and live on a farm.....so why would you want to join and support Joja, the guys who made your life miserable? Instead you get to rebuild the community centre, a place for the town COMMUNITY. It's about sticking together, one for all, all for one kind of thing....and you go against the corporation that's just all about cheap, unhealthy stuff.
It feels as if Joja and Morris are like antagonists of the story....or at least, really unlikeable (like how you can find a letter in Pierre's room where Morris basically taunts him and offers him a job as a grocer for 5 gold per hour...)
So yeah, community centre is more work and may take up until year 2 or even 3 to complete....but it just feels "nicer", seeing how everyone boycotts Joja. But if you're only for easy repairs and don't care about the other NPCs or your famer's background, then you can join Joja and just buy everything...
