Prueba a empezar una partida con el juego en inglés, guarda y luego pásalo a español. Creo que te mantendrá el formato de AM/PM y el juego pasará a español.
I would recommend getting used to the more standard 24-hour format. There are 24 hours in a day, after all, and it's not like conversion is particularly complex.
and many other countries, but I guess it would give you a heart attack to know that it is also commonly used in the United States.

But no, it wouldn't surprise me at all. I did mention it was used in Anglophone/British cultures, which obviously would include the USA.
What surprised me was seeing a Spanish speaker being confused by the 24-hour format. I had no idea the AM/PM system was used in any Spanish-speaking country. But apparently it's used in Mexico at least.
