How to find save file?

Hi all,

I'm planning on wiping my whole laptop so I've been trying to back up all my files onto a flash drive. I've been trying to find ways to find the Stardew Valley save file but I've had no luck. I looked through AppData and there is nothing there in the Local or Roaming folder. If anybody has any idea how to find it, please let me know asap!!

The save file is hidden on my pc so i guess its the same on your PC search "stardew valley" on your C drive, it may took a while but i believe you'll find it.

They should be in AppData\Roaming\Stardew Valley

I was able to find it through Program Files! It was hidden in Steam-> steamapps -> common. Would you suggest I copy the entire folder then? Or just find the particular save file?

That's where it is on my computer. I'm surprised you actually have a Saves folder in the Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Stardew Valley folder. I don't have any saved game files there. edit: regardless, there should be a folder for each character (with the character's name) and inside that 4 files for the save (two with the character's name and two 'savegameinfo' files. I back up the entire Saves folder in the rare cases I do make backups.
