Weird furnace issue

I have 7 furnaces in the mines entrance room. After a long night in the skull caverns collecting iridium ore (using the exploit to stay awake past 2AM) I returned to the mines to smelt 35 of my ore into bars. I thought nothing of it and was not paying attention to what time I put them in the furnaces, however, when I awoke the next day to collect the bars only one of the furnaces had concluded and the other six were still showing the animation that they were smelting. After playing out the day and even the following day they are still running. Anyone else had this issue before? Any solutions that involve me collecting the smelted bars?

Try just breaking the furnaces. That might allow you to get the bars out (as for other machines that make items this usually works). If that doesnt work, then you screwed yourself out of some iridium

Thanks for the response, guys. I'm pretty sure I've smelted Copper/Iron/Gold after 2AM and recieved product after sleeping before though never iridium. Maybe has something to do with the amount of time that passes while sleeping. Anyway, I've broken the furnaces and lost the iridium but oh well.
