As for online multiplayer, I doubt it'll have cross-platform multiplayer (console-PC multiplayer, especially since the first console getting SDV is the Switch). And whether GOG and Steam folks can play together will depend upon how Chucklefish handles things. There's also no indication as to whether it will have local multiplayer or not.
No. But it's difficult to imagine this game to have online MP, this is more of something you play with friends, not unfamiliars.
Erm, the Switch wasn't the first console to get SDV. Playstation and Xbox has it currently.
And this is the real shame.
Also, there's a MP mod, you could try that.
There are plenty of other games like SDV out there, but they're not getting MP.
Also, your reasoning is silly. Just because there are other games like SDV doesn't mean they're the same.
If you're getting this game only for co-op, that's your choice, but i think you'll find co-op and singleplayer are likely going to be similar, don;t quote me on that
