If you are looking for a combat oriented rpg this probably isn't the game for you. In all honesty even calling this an rpg is a bit of a stretch. When you get down to it the game is primarily a farming sim, there is combat but for the most part it's very basic and only in certain areas of the game which are completely optional.
Only game I know of isn't on pc
Underrail or dead state have decent combat while also having great combat mechanics.
I'd recommend RF4 for 3DS or Oceans for PS3.
It's not at all casual-friendly, however, and most of the combat is quite simplistic; it's the combat events (like invasions) and boss fights that are interesting.
Starbound was supposed to be "Terraria in space", but failed miserably.
In either case, the gameplay is totally different from Stardew Valley's.
