What should I do with my first diamond?

I just got one from a fishing chest, and I'm wondering who to give it to or if I should just donate or sell it. The only person I wouldn't want to give it to is Emily, I have max friendship hearts with her. Any ideas?

If you're trying to complete the museum, maybe donate

Save it for a crystalarium. You can get one from one of the Junimo bundles, though I can't remember which one.

Yea I'd vote to save it - you may get more later, but its gotta be very valuable to you early game if you get strapped for cash or get the crystalarium I think. There's always cheaper gifts you can get people

Meh, I just sell mine, but I'm constantly fishing/mining, so, I find Diamonds frequently.

I suppose it would depend on your gameplay style, and what skills you're trying to upgrade first. Or, if you're looking to go after Haley, she loves Diamonds, then again, what "Gold Digger" doesn't?

I'd save it for later, but yeah you can get some easy cash if you are in need of money and you can always find for more cheaper items to give people.

Save it for either a birthday or a "help wanted" poster, where they pay like 2-3x the price of the diamond.

I would... but there's too many youtube videos out there about them (Gold Diggers), so, there's possibly no way you could prove me wrong about them.

not to mention Haley's favorite gift IS a DIAMOND....

I'm pretty sure it speaks for itself.
