Fish the Legend is totally frustrated
You catch this fish is not depend on your skill, but on whether this fish want to be catched by you or not. It can escape easily by just quickly up and down, you can never follow this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Fish is just kind of wasting time, which make me start to hate this game.

The Lava Eel is far worse, you have to dig through piles of trash before you can even get it. Also something unique about the legend, you can catch as many as you want for only a single day. I was able to catch 4 in one day but after that day they stopped appearing, it's a great method of earning quick money mid-game.

RNG.

Gotta get lucky and grab him when he's coasting along and not zig zagging like a ♥♥♥♥. I grabbed him when he was smooth sailing for twice as long as normal (about my 18th attempt at that point). Felt like it got handed to me.

The only pain in the ass about the lava eel is the horrible bite rate. I could only get him to bite about once per day fishing sunup to sundown. It was hard staying awake fishing up the endless trash.

should be fine.

its how I caught all the legendary fish, if you don't do all that the fish will likely require alot of skill to catch and luck and precognition.

with that you should be able to catch the fish 80% of the time.

I ate a +Fishing food after I had reached Level 10 and did not notice any difference nor any buff indicator for fishing nor did Lookup Anything show a level greater then 10. How do you know the buff took effect?

At level 10 fishing with a +3 buff the size of the bar on your rod goes up like half a centimetre. Its not very noticeable, but every bit counts.

The buff icon is on the top right corner of the screen next to the clock. If it isn't there you either didnt eat a food that gives a buff, or you ate a second food that gave a buff and the first buff got cancelled. You can only have one food buff active at a time.

The legend and glacierfish are the 2 hardest legendaries. If you want an EZ legendary do the Angler fish.

I did that one last. What an anticlimax that was lol.

Is the +3 fishing food really make so much difference?
I always try to fish the legned at level 10(9+1) with trap bobber, and practice for more than 20 hours with endless SLs I can only catch the 10% of the fish.

Yes. It does. It turns most (not legend sadly) fish from a nice challenge to a GG EZ.
