I need amethyst!

Hey! I just recently bought Stardew valley and I wanna have Abigail as my spouse. I want to give her amethyst, but I don't know the best/easiest way to get it.. please help!

In the mine you can find it

I'd say there's about a 5-10% chance to find it on any floor in the mines, with topaz and amethyst being the most common on floors 1-39. Green slimes also have a 1-2% chance to drop it. You can only give 2 gifts per week, so finding 2 amethysts shouldn't be too hard once you upgrade your pickaxe.

I found one recently in the quarry.

Do the bundles you get a crystalarium from completing one of them, put a diamond in it, Abby loves diamonds just as she loves amethyst. Crystalarium should pop out a new diamond every few days I eventually found myself drowning in them.

No she doesn't. Amethyst is a loved gift and diamond is a liked gift.

I was going to suggest the crystalarium, but I always put an amethyst in it at first. It produces the amethyst way more often than the diamond. Like every day instead of every 5 days. I do that until I have a nice stack of amethysts for gifts to give to Abigail, Emily, and Clint, then switch to diamonds for selling. Also as someone else said, Abigail (and Emily, and Clint) don't love the diamonds.

Man, Abigail seems like a PAIN judging by these Loved gifts. Glad I don't like her. :)
