So where is Lewis.

I recently started playing this game and had 2 quests now where I have to talk to Lewis to complete them. I know who he is and where he is living thats not the problem but im standing there waiting for him at his Manor and he isnt coming. Thats quite unfortunate because one quest would´ve given me 510 Gold. Any help?

I know a mod that really helps me. The NPC map locations mod. It shows where the villagers are on the map and saves you trouble like this.
You can get it on Nexus mods.
Its for SMAPI.
I have experienced no trouble with the mod and highly recommend it.

If it's any help or even still relevant, I experienced this today and I waited till 10:30 pm in his house and all of a sudden I heard footsteps. He then came walking out of the void, through the wall and into his house. Obviously that isn't normal, but I mean, there he is I guess?

Lewis makes the rounds to the various businesses. He also stands by Pieeres store a lot during the day and can be found most evenings in the Saloon.

That's not the problem. Spoiler ahead. Stop reading if you don't wanna know. Lewis sleeps with Marnie and doesn't come home at night on certain nights, I'm not sure which nights though. But often, he will never come back home and sleeps at Marnie's.

He never comes home when it rains, it seems. I can usually find him at the saloon or in his house other nights... but when it's raining, I'll wait in his house until 1am and he never comes home.
