Do questions the Npcs ask you actually affect Friendship points?

For example the black smith will eventually tell u he comes from a line of black smiths and asks what you think his great-grandfather was. So does your answer affect anything?

Some of them do, I looked at the wiki for Leah's questions and some lower hers and some just leave them as is

Some do affect friendship, but it's never a significant amount of friendship points. It's easily fixed by a gift or two.

Yeah. If you pick "A sarcastic jerk" or whatever, your friendship with Clint goes down. I think the best response was "A silly clown" and the "A blacksmith?" option was neutral.

I think it's like +/- 50 points. Which is what, 2-3 days' worth of talking to them? Easy enough to make up if you make the wrong choice.
