Robin's Request

Robin sent me a letter asking for 40 hardwood. I went to her with 40 hardwood, but when I tried to give it to her, she only took one, and since she doesn't like it as a gift, was upset. How do I turn in the 40 hardwood?

when its collect quest this will happen when you give em some stuff yah stashed up. Check the quest is 40/40 collected before you give her.

Did you "Accept" the quest? Check your quest log, under the clock. (Or press J, I think?) If the mission's not there, you didn't accept it.

If it is there, maybe try just talking to her?

I don't have any mods. She said something along the lines of "Oh, I can put this in the compost, at least"

I did accept it, it shows up under the ! symbol below the clock

Make sure you didn't take it all from the chest at once. The game only counts items that are picked up 1 at a time, so to make it count, just put all of the hardwood in the chest, then take it out 1 by 1!
