Multiple Museum Donations of Same Items?

Looked for this on google search, but didn;t find any info, can you donate the same items to the museum multiple times, or can they be sold after donating them once?

You can't donate the same item more than once. So, yes, in most cases selling the other copies of an item is the way to go. You may want to check up on what's required for recipes or is a favored gift before you do so, though. And in the case of the Dino Egg... incubate in your coop first and let the grown animal give you more eggs so that you don't have to depend on the RNG to dig up another one.

Ah, thanks for all your help, I will keep in mind to keep the dino egg, really appreciate your help.

Saddly no, and this become a bit of an issue to find the reamaning ones, best way to find them is after year 2, power your way until winter, then on a REALLY lucky day (unless Luck doesnot influece the worms/ artifacts you find) . eat meals that increse your luck, lucky lunch and spicy eals are what I use, and just go crazy on the worms/fishing/mining(hoeing the ground in the mines). and even the skull cavern.

I'm still missing about 7 items for the collection. there's a list on the wiki,

Some artifacts don't appear at all in geodes, though. Those are the ones I'm having trouble with. Decided to finally go for the achievement and I'm still missing four. The RNG on this is a pain. One of the ones I'm missing I've gotten half a dozen of before in other playthroughs.

Luck does not affect your chances of getting artifacts from worms. That's pre-determined at the beginning of every day based on a fixed rate. I think the only thing luck affects as far as getting artifacts is the chance of strange dolls appearing in a fishing chest.

Is that also true for the item drops from enemies or is that also pre-determined.

I'm not sure if it affects the overall drop-rate for normal items but I've read it does *not* affect the drop chance for rare items. That's a fixed drop chance.
