Ya know what bugs me a little?
I just got married to Sebastian in my "farm clothes"!!!! He was dressed nice..Me not so much. Concerned ape must not know it's all about the "dress".

The flower dance as well. All the ladies look so nice in their white dresses and there I am in my farm clothes and big ol boots!

Grrrrrrrr

Yeah, that bugs me too a little. I take off my hat for both events, but that's all I can do. It leaves me feeling weirdly out of place not being able to dress up for those. We need a wardrobe.

This bugs me too! I mean, I married Sam, and had enough money for a cute dress (if you could actually get cute dresses in game). It kind of irks me that the sprite doesn't change for your marriage ceremony.

The same goes for the flower festival, too. I think all the girl sprites look really cute in the dresses for the festival. But my character doesn't get to look cute. She just trudges to the festival in dirty, manure-stained farmclothes, AND she looks to be about twice as tall as the other girls (my character sprite seems MASSIVE)!!

That mod, called GetDressed, does give female farmers the options for skirts, different shoes, and wedding dresses. Though it sucks that it's a mod and not part of the vanilla game.

I've never used a mod before. I just wish I could make my character more girly. Cute farming clothes, dress up clothes, cute shoes.

Bugs me, too. I know we can change with the Wizard, but I wish there was something, like the catalogue you could buy to change clothing at home or even if your sprite just changed for those times would be nice, as well.

To all of you who want better clothes, get some retexture mods. They don't require SMAPI and are literally drag and drop, and don't cause save errors at all.

Dino...I have no idea of what that is...lol

There's some here, although I believe you'd have to add modded clothes to the spritesheet yourself if you want more than one of the clothes mods active at the same time, as they all modify the same file.

And there's probably more besides that, you'll probably have to search for them to find one you want.
