How do get slime balls?

i have a slime shack thingy...(really good with the name) and it says they are supposed to produce slime balls, but i have had a slime for like 18 in-game days now, and he aint ever produced a single slime ball

Water them.

i did that tho...do the slimes drop the slime balls, or do i have to do something to the slimes to make them drop slime balls...cause i always fill up the water buckets, when they're empty,

You have to have at least a few. If you only have one slime, you'll need to breed more -- slimes will breed when you have two of the opposite sex (with and without the little pompom) or five of the same sex. (So for now you'll probably need to find at least one more egg.) They'll just produce the slime balls on their own.

;-; i really should have not raised my purple slime outside, and my green slime inside ;-; thanks for the info tho, the game never really explained it.

Pretty sure if you kills slimes in the mine, you get them.

As you get more and more slimes, consider investing some iridium into a slime egg press -- that really streamlines the whole process.
