Animals escaped!!!
My chickens escaped their pen when I was fixing part of the fence. Is there some kind of item I can get that calls them back like the bell in Harvest Moon?

Update: I finally got them back in by pushing them. So, nvm.

If it happens again, don't worry. They return to their coop around 6pm.

They will always return during the evening. Just leave the gate open and then close it before you go to bed that night. :)

Thanks everyone. I'll remember all this for next time.

On Minecraft Forum, some people, (Especially Germans for some reason) thought the report button was the reply button. o_O

That's cruel... I hope you're not a chicken farmer.

Problem is that they might not be able to get back into the fenced area. I have had several times where they got stuck and then just said "F**K IT!!! I sleep here".

There's dialog options you have to go through to send the report after clicking the button that make it very clear what you're doing, though...

One would think but no. We got five or six a week and using google translate it was quite obvious that they were trying to add to the discussion.

On topic: I always fence in my coops and barns with Iron Fencing. Lasts a long time as well. :) Had them break a few times but that was mainly during the winter when animals weren't allowed outside.

My Great Grandfather raised chickens on our farm back in the 50's. He also raised cows but after he saw how much chicken feed was at the time, well... Grandma had a good chicken dinner later that day.
