[Solution] Game not Launching with Avast Antivirus

I had severe problems with my stardew valley not launching the last weeks. After working through all the posted solutions several times my game would launch sometimes but most times not.

The problem was that Avast would silently block stardew from launching. Did not have this problem with any other games though so it took me a while to realize.

Simply turn off avast shield control, launch the game and re-enable it.

Hope this helps someone who was as frustrated as me
