Dwarf

Is there something to do to be able to understand the Dwarf? I've given him a couple of scrolls but it didn't change anything. Thanks

There are 4 scrolls you have to turn in to the Museum. After the 4th you'll get a translation book as a reward and be able to talk to Dwarf.

If I already gave a couple to the Dwarf, will I be able to find 4 more?

Yeah, you keep finding them. They only sell for 1g so I wish we wouldn't keep finding them though.

I tried turning the scroll in to Gunther but he wouldn't take it. Kept saying "you have nothing to donate, you'd better be off" or words to that effect.

Never mind...he already had it. I hadn't remembered giving him a scroll before. I've actually given him 2!

wait, are you giving them to the dwarf or the museum? if you are giving them to the dwarf then you just wasted a bunch of RARE items.

Fortunately they aren't that rare. Get an upgraded hoe or some bombs and you can come back with half a dozen of them after a trip to the mines.

She was giving them to the Dwarf, but is on the right track now for completing the museum set.

Whaaat?
You donate those scrolls to Gunther at the Museum. There total of 4 scrolls, you need to complete them in order to gain a translation something from Gunther as a reward.

i think its more of a luck based random chance thing as i spent like 3 in game months looking for ONE of the dwarf scrolls. I think it was the 2nd scroll, and when i go into the mines now i only find one of them every so often.

Ouch, that's some seriously bad luck. I even found 3 differnet ones on the same trip to the mines within 3 floors of each other. I find them mostly by digging in the dirt in the mines, though, which I do frequently looking for other artifacts, gems and roots. I almost always end up with at least one per trip.
