I'd support increasing the dimensions by 1, I guess. (So if it's 10x10, make it 11x11, or whatever) This would add several spaces, at least. I'm okay with the barn being slightly better, since it requires more materials and you need to build it 3x.
I think the reason the shed's so small is it's the size of the first house in the game, before you get the kitchen. A laziness thing, I guess.
Aka - make it small on the world map. I think 3x3 would look a little scrunched up, but 3x5 would look really good and definitely help the argument choice between the 2.
Initial Farmhouse is 10x7, and the door is 1 slot off. So, it wasn't pure laziness since it is slightly bigger and different than the farmhouse already.
If we buy all the resources its still a 12k vs 18k difference.
Barn at full size can hold upto 135 and is 4x7 on the world map, meaning it takes up 28 squares on the world map.
At 3x5, the Shed would still look really good. Would be able to fit 67x2 = 134 and would take up 30 squares on the world map. With advantages such as being able to fit in more places and being less resource intensive than the Big Barn.
It's easily the cleanest, most optimal solution.
