I'm new in stardew valley, go for my first winter know.
I do a big mistake, forgot to cut grass for winter, I do the math and my hay isn't enough for my animals for winter.
But suddenly Marnie give me 30 hay 3 times!
My relationship with her just 3 heart by doing every mission for her.
And cause help from Marnie, I have enough hay for winter !

Neat. She also sells hay for 50g apiece, which isn't great but better than your animals starving. Mayonnaise sells for I think 150g? So you're still making a profit, if you process your chicken eggs. (Or milk into cheese, or whatever.)

Several villagers send you stuff, if you befriend them. The blacksmith can send metal bars, Emily can send cloth, George and Robin can send stone and wood...

Generally speaking, every villager has something they like which will be fairly easy for you to obtain, which you can use as a gift.

Marnie for example, likes Parsnips, and likes Sweet Peas.

She also gives you a quest for Cave Carrots and Amaranth, which is a clue she likes those too.

If you do the quests then you can still get quite some friendship points.

If you try to befriend other bachelor/bachelorettes after marrying Abigail, watch out for jealousy and her hearts dropping >.> The player's spouse is programmed to do those things if you gift another marriage candidate, so you might want to befriend the candidates you find interesting before you marry Abigail to avoid that.

Talking is fine, but slow if you're using it to increase hearts. Also, the jealousy applies to bachelors, too; your character is canonly bisexual even if you and your behaviour when playing is not >.>

Really? Hmm... she has a quest for them though... that's usually an indicator that someone likes them. Hm.. oh well, sorry.

She wants the carrot for her goats, not herself. Everyone dislikes cave carrots as a gift, even the Dwarf who talks about *only* having cave carrot to cook with and having no complaints >.>
