Robin sells them, but I dunno if some of them are decorative or what. I have a lantern I started the game with (Wilderness map) and it doesn't give any light... or at least, it doesn't turn on/off at night.

Robin sells various lamps, but her stock rotates. Some games I never see any.

Robin's lamps work; I use the box lamps when I get Robin's catalogue (priced at 30 000, but it gives you instant and free access to all her furniture stock in the comfort of your own home :) ).

So it is. My apologies ^^; Price starts to blur for me towards the end-game. Everything else is accurate, though.

One of the first things I make are the little torches. Since the first few days are used to chop trees, you get sap & wood -that makes them.
I place a few around my farm to light it up & inside the house too.
It's much cheaper in the early part of the game when money is tight -since you get the wood & sap for free.
