Coop before silo?

Why does the game prompt you to build a coop before building a grain silo? What's the point of putting a chicken in there and watching it not grow/lay eggs because it can't eat?

?? There is no "restriction" that you have to build a coop first. It's just a quest, no one forces you to build a coop first.

I always build a silo first. Robin had never problem with that.

Even if they did, not like you have to buy animals for it until you are ready to get them, so easy to leave the coop empty for a season or so

I usually get the silo for Winter when all my grass is dead. Marnie charges too much for food, so the silo is a great money saver.
Otherwise, I just let my animals wander around outside to eat the grass. They always produce eggs & milk.

I get two silos bcause meh dont wanan waste the grass when i not got animals XD

They can eat without a silo, just fence off a grassy area for them as they eat grass as well..

And in my opinion the restriction of first building a coop before a silo, makes no sense.
The game should allow it.

U can buy a Silo first.
