Wicked Statue

So... I made a wicked statue and put it outside my house and it started glowing red. Should I be worried? I though it was mostly for deco. This thing is freaking me out now.

I believe it is meant to stop the witch event happening, so if you wanted to protect your slime hutch from her put it in there I believe

Placing a Wicked Statue in a slime hutch prevents the witch from visiting it.

Taken from the Wikipedia, if she does visit your slimes she turns them into black/transparent slimes so depends if you want black slimes -shrugs-
