Can i use extra ancient seed artifacts for anything?

I was hoping to go back to the museum for another recipe but it seems it does nothing and I take it i cant plant the artifact. I used my packet a while ago and didnt make extras. Now i dont have any ancient fruits...

Assuming you grabbed both rewards from Gunther at the museum, you should be able to craft 1 plantable seed from the artifact. If not, go claim the recipe from Gunther.

They're honestly not that rare, compared to how they used to be. You could load up a seedmaker with some blueberries or something and you'd be pretty likely to get a few within a week.
