Need Help With Fishing!

Hello! So I'm currently in Spring and my fishing level is 9. You see, I'm trying to catch TheLegend27 but he requires me to become level 10. So, whats the best place with high exp fish so I can level up faster? Thanks!

You could use Trout Soup to raise your level to 10. You can buy this from Willy. Dish O' The Sea raises your level by 3. Completing one of the fish bundles in the Community Centre has 5 as it's reward.

But, I'd suggest trying an area where you can catch lots of fish as the more you catch, the quicker your level rises. I think it's a numbers game rather than more difficult fish give you more experience. However, if you wish to try an area where there is a hard fish to catch, go for level 60 of the mines. The Ice Pip is not easy and you will also catch Ghost fish together with lots of algae.

I believe that Dish 'O The Sea and Trout Soup both raise your fishing level, so that should help. If you have a kitchen, Trout Soup just requires a rainbow trout and a green algae, or you could buy it from Willy for 250G.

I'm not entirely sure about that, I think difficulty and value of the fish also come into play here. If you have an iridium rod, lots of wild bait and a few spinners, then I'd suggest going to the mountain lake or beach to catch lots of carp, chub, sardines and tuna.

I think fishing in the sea gets you the most experience fastest.
I would recommend getting to level 10, then eating Dish O' The Sea before attempting to catch The Legend.

You also getting fishing XP for crab pots, so set some in water near your farm and make it a daily chore to empty/rebait them as you wake up/water crops/feed animals etc. It adds up.
