You dont. Two reasons: you put in 2 and thought it was 1. you remember it wrong.

I only grew 1 when I was testing to see how much you get. got 6.

Whatever you decide to plant make sure to plant 10-15 hops plants. Nothing beats a steady stream of income like Pale Ale. This requires a healthy supply of kegs, of course.

I think strawberries, blueberries and crannberries make a lot of money fast. Other than that, make a greenhouse full of ancient fruits and two sheds full of kegs. This lets you make 116 ancient wines every week. For animals, pigs truffles make a lot of money, especially if you have the perk that gives iridium quality for all foraged items. Fruit trees are also nice, because they give you stuff dayly and need no real work.
